Friends? (Maximoff Twins x Reader)

 A/n: Hey guys! This is my first one shot! Now this was inspired by an Imagine on here: marvelximagine.tumblr.com/post… so yeah. Please let me know right away if there are any spelling mistakes or suggestions on my crappy Sokovian accents.      (Y/n) sighs as she sits against a metal support beam in the training room of the new Avengers facility. You see (Y/n) had a very rough childhood because she was abused by her siblings (A/n: no not the twins, reader-chan's actual "siblings" if you don't have any pretend you do) and parents because she could control the four elements (A/n: why does it seem like I'm obsessed with elementals?!?!). Thus she  trusted no one because after she discovered her powers and accidentally hurt her older sister (slight frozen reference? ) (Y/n) locked her self away to make she doesn't hurt anyone and to get away from her family. When she was outside of her room that is more like a closet they never gave her any food and always beat her. When she was 15 (just change your current age if your younger or 15 now) she made enough money and ran away from (h/t) and left (h/s). About 1 year ago (Y/n) received mail from the organization SHIELD. At first she didn't even bother opening it but once a man named Nick Fury showed up at her door and offered for her to become an agent she accepted. Only then that he realized that she had powers and offered for her to become an Avenger. So now she is an Avenger and was the newest one until a couple of weeks ago after a major fight with the god-foresaken android Ultron. Now there was Rhodey, Sam, Vision previously known as Javis, a few agents and The Maximoff Twins, Pietro and Wanda. You see (Y/n) had just gotten comfortable at Avengers tower but now there is a whole new facility that's more confusing and more threating. Even though (Y/n) has faced thousands of androids and many other horrors there is nothing more scary to her than other people. But she doesn't let that show. Instead she acts cold and distrusting even though she trusts the whole team with all her heart she just doesn't trust herself with her powers (what is with my references today?!?!). Thus she never makes contact with anyone except when absolutely necessary. So right now the (y/a) year old is sitting on a support beam reading (f/b) for like the hundredth time. After awhile of sitting there she checks her watch and sees it's time for dinner. Sighing knowing that now she has to talk to someone and be around people all while not breaking her protective layer. 
*Timeskip to dinner because Author-chan needs sleep*
   (Y/n) is sitting at the huge dinner table with the rest of her fellow Avengers slowly eating a (plate) of (f/f) with a side of (f/s). The two people across from her are the twins. Even though she can sort of relate to their pain of loss of parents (metaphorically for reader-chan) she still doesn't really know them. Pietro is on his third plate of food while Wanda is eating only a little bit faster then (Y/n). 
  "So. (Y/n). During the introduction ve got vhen ve arrived said that before us and zhe other newbies vhat you were newest." Pietro said breaking the silence of the slightly akward meal. (Y/n) nodded at this.
   "Ve hoped that ve could get vo know vou vetter but ve haven't seen vou very much around." Wanda said adding onto what her brother said. (Y/n) shrugged at this. 
     "Are vou ok? Do vou have a sore throat? Is vhat vhy ve never hear vou talk?" Wanda said concerned. (Y/n) opened her mouth as to say something but was cut of by a certain billionaire.
     "No that's not it. Krypton (no not like Superman the element. The meaning of the word is: hidden one) here isn't very sociable. It seems like she doesn't like anyone." Tony said while taking sips of his vodka. While (Y/n) glared at him for interrupting her few times that she talks. She then turned to the twins and shook her head and then said
     "Don't believe what he said I'm just not a people person and I don't really like the sound of my voice." The (y/a) year old said quietly and lowered her voice even more for the last part.
     "Oh. I'm sorry if ve bothered you at all." Wanda said politely. To which (Y/n) shook her head once more and replied 
     "You two didn't bother me at all. In fact I wouldn't mine getting to know you two as well." (Y/n) said showing a small smile at them all while Tony gaped at her for saying more then two sentences. 
       "Ve vould like that vouldn't ve Pietro?" Wanda said addressing her brother who nodded in response instead of saying something as his mouth was full. (Y/n) smiled. 'Maybe' she thought 'Maybe I could actually make some friends here instead of just teammates.'
